Boiling dumplings (jiaozi)

          500g for £3

Frying dumplings (guotie)

            500g for £3

We are very famous for our Chinese dumplings, which have won awards in Scotland and England and been sold in their millions in the U.K., Spain and indeed all over the world as they were served on P & O cruise ships for many years! Now we are offering these little celebrities through our frozen food delivery service.

Both the boiling and frying dumplings are available in many flavours and we also have chicken mini dumplings, which kids absolutely love.

How do you cook boiling dumplings? As easy as boiling an egg. Place the frozen dumplings in boiling water and cook for five minutes counting from when they start to float. How simple is that?

How do you fry these dumplings? Place the frozen dumplings in a non-stick pan brushed with oil, add a cup  of cold water and cover. Cook on a high heat until the water evaporates. Then reduce to medium heat until the bases are golden brown.  You'll have created steamed dumplings nicely fried on the base - the traditional 'potstickers'.

Traditional dumpling dip

               520ml for £3

        Chilli oil

           180ml for £1

Tip: We like to serve our dumplings with a traditional dip of light soya sauce (two thirds) mixed with vinegar (one third) and add, according to taste, some chilli oil and crushed garlic, but any dip will go. We offer the traditional dip for £3.
